Mr van ****

[Post New]by Meganthedog on Oct 11, 15 9:22 AM
In my review on the game page, I likened the accents to this actor using his full name but my review was blocked as I was deemed to be using inappropriate language. Censorship gone mad?

Well, I can't find your post.... I assumed it was this man's last name, but his first name tends to get blocked also.

If you deleted that post, it's hard to answer your question accurately.

His 1st name is also a slang for a part in male anatomy.

I posted only a couple of hours ago so it won't be on yet. I ended up rephrasing as "something from Mary Poppins" to get past the firewall. I just thought it was a bit extreme not to be able to write, what is after all, a man's name. Even the asterisks in this thread's title were not put in by me. I don't know whether you have it in the US, but over here we have a pudding called Spotted D*** which always causes a few laughs when it's on the menu.

Perhaps in future we should assume that he is Jean-Claude's brother, and refer to him as "Richard Van Damme"!!

Ha! Love it. It really is a very silly situation, though, isn't it?

It is an offence term for a l e s b i a n, so I can understand it been censored.

As a g a y girl myself, that term can hurt.

My sainted aunt loved to mangle her words and from the first time she
told us about her favorite show, if forever became :
The Sick van Dow Shyke.
