Not enough to buy seperator

I am about half way... I have completed crossroads 5 and 6. Now I need a seperator to go on. That costs 10000, plus a meatpacker upgrade worth 1300. I only have 6520.
I have got gold on every level so far. Do I have to replay levels to get enough to buy the seperator?

Yes, you will have to go back and replay some levels. I would usually look for one that gives you alot of stars and play it until I had enough to continue.

I just did crossroads 6 and that gave me 200. Wonder which is the best level...?
Not much fun playing the same level over 20 times just to move on. (edit... just repeated another crossroads. Got 1000 each time for silver and it took a few attempts to get gold again, so all okay now. )
