Stuck in the Museum and other rants.

[Post New]by GoddessOdd on Sep 12, 08 8:09 PM
I agree that TSS should have come with a strategy guide built in...it seems that I can not run both at the same time, because Big Fish apparently has set things up so that if you open the strategy guide, the game can not be opened because "there is already a game running", so I guess we have been ripped off twice here. I am stuck in the museum. Strategy guide said to go to the screen on the wall, solve the puzzle and take the ticket upstairs. NOTHING happens at the screen...I apparently need something else to make this @$@$Y%&^$% thing work.

It sure would be a lot more fun to play this game if it made sense, and if you could get help when you are stuck, without having to SAVE, EXIT, open the strategy guide, wait for it to load, read a page, close that, reopen the game. wait thru the INTERMINABLE credits, reload the saved game, and then find out that the hint you just laboriously got is no good.

Strategy guide should have been STEEPLY discounted if not given free with this game...and I learned my lesson....never never never buy from big fish until reading the forums. It is a shame too, because this game looked like it might be a lot of fun. Oh well, caveat emptor. Have we gotten any feedback about refunds????

Have you read any of the games forums on this game? There is a ton of help there. They have helped me solve many a puzzle and many times without a guide. Try there. I think you will find the help that you need

Hi GoddessOdd- sorry to hear you are having issues. You should be able to put the ticket into the slot on the upstairs door. Check with your cursor to find the 'hot' area and see exactly where it goes. There is no reason that I can think of that would prevent you from entering the upper area.

I wish I could be more help.

The problem is that I can not get the ticket...no puzzle comes up on the screen, and the strategy guide is no help at all...it tells me to solve the puzzle to get the ticket, but WHAT puzzle...screen is blank, and apparently I need some other part to make the puzzle appear. Sigh. I feel so very ripped off by this game...considering that I basically bought it twice, once for the game, twice with the "not very good strategy" guide.

The puzzle is in the middle section of the wall, between the plans and the door. You only have to click on it. There are a bunch of gray(I think) squares. This is a memory game- you have to match the colored shapes. When you are finished it will also give you a 4-shape combination- write that down. You will need it later back at Solvig's house.
I hope this helps
