Silly question....what does the plant/flower with a broken heart next to the person in the nursery mean?

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean, haven't played this for ages but I went and looked and didn't see that. If you mean the bubbles over or next to the head of a customer show a broken heart sometimes I think those usually just mean what their mood is or what they want.
