Cathederal Blue prints

Is something wrong with this part of the game. Nothing seems to work in this scene. Can't pick up any objects and hint doesn't work! Help

I too am having problems here, trying to retrieve the blueprints. I can clear everything but that on top of the bookshelf. I get the little magnifying glass, but when I click on it, it will not open....I will keep trying, good luck to you too!

Im stuck here too. I cant get the game to go any further. Everything is frozen.
