Strange thing just happened

At the end game of journey 43, when I attached the lamp on a chain into place, the main chain parted and two large doors opened and dropped down under the canopy. These were hinged on either side and resembled large trap doors.

Also the centre statue of the three large animal statues moved position slightly to the right.

Anyone else had this happen?

If so, did you find anything extra in the game?

NB: My wife is slightly ahead of me (both in score and journey's), but she has not had this happen.

Since posting the previous I am now back on the final level.

The statue does not 'move' as I thought, it is already in that position.

Studying the central canopy I can now clearly see that the 'trap door' is held in position by the chain, but I have never noticed the doors open before.

Well, I've just completed another journey and again the chain snaps and the doors fall open, but nothing else seems to happen.

Maybe it's always done it and I've never noticed; although you'd think I would after all these journeys!

Ah well, onwards and upwards, journey 45 is calling!

Well my wife reckons it's always done that and it was because I left that item until the end on that ocassion whereas normally I would select it and then look to placing the next item and not notice the doors drop open.

Boy am I embarrassed! Sorry folks. I'll just sneak away and kill myself.....
