I've reached, even surpassed 'Baker's Goal', but level kills me anyway

I'm at the second location, and this problem started in 'March'. It has already flashed me the 'reached Baker's Goal' message, but at the end of the level it insists I didn't make it and I'm dead. Don't understand. Got out, restarted and got through March, then it did the same thing on April. Any ideas? Anyone?

Heh, heh, heh. Silly me, didn't realize my stunningly fabulous cakes that were still sitting on the table were reducing my money below the Baker's Goal I'd reached. Heh, heh, heh. Good thought about picking the cake up before picking up the last money... Thanks!
