Flip Words hogging CPU

I am a tech support person who helps homeowners with their computers.
I have noticed that Flip Words is always using 50% of CPU resource - even if the player is not doing anything. Is this normal behavior for that program?

I downloaded the trial version myself to confirm the behavior - why would such a simple game need that much CPU?

Is there any option or command line switch that would lower the CPU percentage?

OK - I will try to explain again.

CPU = Central Processing Unit - the main brain of your computer.

There is a way find out on what fraction of the "brain" power of the computer (CPU) is being used by any particular program.
This is done by pressing CTRL-ALT-DELETE on the keyboard - which brings up the Task Manager;
From there you click on the Processes tab, and you will see that the Process for Flip Words (Flip words.exe) is always using 45-50% of the CPU.

That is a lot for such a simple game.
Maybe there is a different forum I should post to with technical questions?
