Color cube puzzle

How do the colors line up? I don't understand the instructions. Do the colors go
in a line all the way to the next color and on the side with only one color square what do I do there? Help

You just need to connect the colors. When you click and drag, you color the squares. The path of squares you color is supposed to go across one face of the cube to another to get to the other square of that color.
