I think its a good idea to wait. Since BFG released the first Dream Chronicles, I'd say the chances are pretty good that they'll give us this one as well.

Well, your wait is over. It's here! I'll try the demo. I never did buy the first one. I didn't care for it for some reason. I may buy this one out of boredom since I haven't bought a new game since "Can You See What I See".

Edna, I've been playing Hidden Object Show, and it's only OK in my book. Better than most, but not as good as some.

My problem with DC #1 was that their was so much darn talking (so to speak). It seemed like everytime I made a move their was a story or description. I got tired of picking up jewels because I didn't want to hear a long story about each one.

From what I am reading, it seems the DC games are very short. I can't see much replay value in them either. Once you solve all the "what, how & where do I go now" places, is there much fun in playing the game again?

Let me know what ya'll think about the game.

I tried the game last night and bought it today.
So far, I like it better than the first DC, but it's pretty hard, for me, anyway. I am now stuck on the grammophone - can't find the last disk. I have a feeling that one has to collect enough diamonds to find another object.
A tip for those of you who are just starting: there is a lot of going back and forth between rooms/areas.
Happy playing to all of you!!

Downloaded the walkthrough 24 pages of stuff. I have not started to play, but from I am reading the rooms are interactive, you may find something in one room that is needed for another room. I like stuff like that, Mortimer is like that. And you have dream pieces and dream jewels. Can not wait to get started. But I have to finish a couple of games first happy gaming ladies.

Thanks for the tip with the walkthrough, Oreo - I'll go find that. I am really enjoying the game, even though I haven't particularly liked that kind of game in the past.
I'll also try to find "Mortimer" that you mention in your post.

You're welcome. Enjoy!

It was Edna who mentioned Mortimer (Beckett and the Secret of Spooky Manor).

I purchased Mortimer Beckett from Realarcade. A very good game, different from the regular HO games, kind of like Escape the Museum.

Hello everybody:

I´m stuck. In the Merrow´s Lab he says me that he´ll guide me to the Tower of Defense. But HOW? I gave him his cocktail, found every items, gems, etc ( or that is what I think) . And after several hours I´m unable to leave level 14. Please help.

Did you check the walkthrough listed above? If you click on Merrow, does he say anything?

I'm having a small problem in chapter 14. There is supposed to be 3 gems when you go in & talk to the plant & I can only find 2. The walkthrough doesn't show where these gems are. Has anyone found all three?

I have finished it. Wouldn't say that it was short, but it could have been longer.

In Merrow's Lab on the close up with Merrow I have only found 2 dream pieces and I have played the game about 20 times. Only the walkthrough on Gamezebo says there are three. The other walkthroughs at Play First and Game Room say there are only 2 in that scene.

Yes, I finished it , twice, because I enjoyed it so much the first time. Seemed a bit easier than DC1 but maybe that's because I'm more familiar with the format. The thing that drew me to Dream Chronicles 1, just after I got my first laptop, were the enchanting Art Nouveau graphics, they were so pretty. It's not that long until you get stuck in the tunnels, I will say no more.
