Why sabatoge some players but not all?

Hello,
We have been playing PT it was advertised as "Fun for the whoe family", but it seems to us that the more ppl that play the game the worse the infestations become. Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do about it? My little boy is getting very hurt by this.
I wanted to thank the person that mentioned the tips on Last Day OF Work website. I did everything it said and it did not help him at all. He has started over 3 times. He wonders why the game is picking on him? In total 4 ppl played the game b4 him with very few infested plants, but he has 8-10 infested every single time he plants anything. He is at the stage now where throwing them away is costly. What can he do?

Hello, I too have been frustrated and have started over 3 times. I now have most of my plants living. I am trying to save up for the last soil upgrade. I did see however that if you upgrade your water, that is supposed to help with the infestations . That does sound a little odd though having that many plants infested. This sounds like a silly question but do change the time when you turn off the game? I think the infestation spray should only be $2

SS for your little boy, how annoying!! Do check his game and make sure he is on Easy play. Then encourage him to grow the lower tiered plants for as much money as they will sell for until he can afford the upgraded soils and water.
Trying to grow the higher tiered plants in low grade soils/water will definately result in green house catastrophes !!
Also, do throw away the infested pots as I firmly believe pests incubate in the afflicted soil that the spray will not kill.
Also, it helps to trim away dead foliage as soon as possible so the plant can recover and flourish.

Thank you for your answers. He is on EASY gameplay, and he upgraded to highest water an soil, but it gets worse everytime he does. An example last evening he planted the 15 plants (i watch him everytime), of 15 plants 13were infested in one single planting. It's tough when he asks why he is picked on and can't answer him. I want you all to know much it means to us that you answered, thank you very much for that.
