Relaxed mode

How do you get the game to play in relaxed mode? When I created my screen name it gave me a choice and I chose relaxed mode but then I noticed as I was playing that I still only got 30-something minutes to play each section. So, I decided to start a new game with a different name but this time I didn't even get the choice of whether to play in relaxed mode. It went right into detective mode. How do I get the extra time?

That IS the relaxed mode for this game. However, different levels give you different amounts of time. I THINK what they did for relaxed mode (not sure), is double the time they allow in regular mode. I am sure there are fishies around here that know whether or not this is right.

No, I don't think that's right because I played once before in detective mode and it was still around 30 minutes or so. Also, when I started a new game, I wasn't given the option of which mode to play in. Hopefully someone else will know why and can help out.

I figured it out by starting a new game with a new name, and it turns out I was not selecting "Relaxed mode" correctly. I wasn't highlighting it and so I kept accidentally selecting detective mode. So, I finally got it to play in relaxed mode and it is almost 70 minutes!!! Yeah! I may have a chance to beat it now.
