Anyone have any problems with levelling the scales with the 2 jugs?

Yes, I must not have understood the directions, but I couldn't get the jars to do anything. I could click on them and make them move around, but that was it. I just skipped that puzzle.

Naming A through C, from left to right, pour:

A into B
B into C
A into B
B into C
C into A
B into C
A into B
B into C

There is also a picture to follow on the walkthrough!

Blessings,

First, place the jugs on the columns.

Pour from sack into big jug (5 units of sand).
Pour from big jug into small jug (so big jug will have 2 units left).
Empty the small jug into the sack.
Empty big jug into small jug (so small jug has 2 units now).
Fill big jug with sand again (5 units).
Pour 1 unit from big jug into small --> and you'll have 4 units left!

That's it!

It's a variation of a classic math puzzle - it's not like these guys invented it. Google jug puzzle or watch Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Personally I liked it - added some thinking to the mini-games instead of just straight "put the square pegs in the square holes - yay!" that alot of them are

I can't get the jars on the columns.

I can't get the jugs to pour.

What do I do now?

Make sure you are placing the larger jug on the right pedestal. Check the screenshot in the walkthrough:

LOL, it's just simple subtraction, Max!

5 - 3 = 2
5 - 1 = 4

Piece of cake!

The walkthrough used addition, but the math is the same:

3 + 2 = 5
1 + 3 = 4

My solution has only 6 steps, as compared to the walkthrough's 8 steps.
It really is quite simpler than it looks!

I'm having the same problem, the jars will not go onto the pedestal... I know how to play the math, but I can't even start if the jars won't go onto the pedestal.. I get no gears turning in the area, but I have the jars sitting in my inventory, I click on them but then they won't release anywheres... is this a glitch, I really don't want to skip the puzzle...
