Hello all,

Monday again, for today, just wish is was warmer, Central Heating still not fixed we think we have a problem with the oil, so will have to wait till the supplier opens, we usually have Kerosene, the supplier said Glowmax oil was better and it would mix with the oil we have, WRONG , the burner will not fire up, and we have 2,000 litres in the tank and this is not cheap.

So today will be spent with numerous phone calls no doubt, not sure whether I will get anything done, animals are all fed, so it is just a case of waiting.

TGT, not for me, still playing left to play.

My mum is coming to stay with us today for a few days, she spent the weekend at my DD's, so am looking forward to hearing all about it.
She's leaving London around 10.30 so should be here at lunchtime.

Hello everyone

sun is shining here - off to get yet some more bedding plants. I usually plant wallflowers and winter-flowering pansies which keep the garden bright during the winter months.

DS is on a diet and exercise regime to lose some weight (he is not too overweight anyway) - arrived yesterday on his bike which he is using more. He is up jogging at 6 a.m. every morning - i do think about him if I am awake!

Sorry your heating wasn't a 'quick fix' after all. Does that mean you have no hot water too or is that a different system? Surely you won't be charged for the removal of the oil and cleaning of the tank since it's the suppliers fault. (Hope he accepts responsibility) Let us know how you get on.....we could do a blanket collection for you if it's going to take a while. Can't have you all cold and miserable! Why do these things never happen in the hight of summer?

Taking DS to collect his bus later this morning...he's off to a football training camp in Largs for three days. So someone else can put up with the teenage mood swings for a while (actually he's not bad - in comparison to his big sister anyway. She was a )

Hi Goeash. we don't have a garden, which is unbelievable with all the land we have, still not very green-fingered, well good for your DH, I get up early, but not to go jogging have a super day.

Hi Weeharleyboy, we can get hot water, using the electric, thank goodness, mind you have had a few problems pumping up the water from the well, it never rains but it pours I hope the Oil Company will admit to the fault, but will not hold my breath, and they always do seem to go wrong in the winter months. Will keep you posted. Hope your DS has a great time, I also found girls to be more trouble than boys, still they are both grown up now, and I love them to bits. DS is off too London again today to buy more clothes no doubt, have a super day.

is out here as well, promising to get to about 19 degrees today...that would be nice - if it happens.

Oh Mummy still no heating....think you will have to bake all day and stay in the kitchen to keep warm. Good luck with the Heating - 2000 litres....ouch I do hope you don't have to change it as I know that will be expensive.

Well washing to do today...in my machine - HURRAH, using my new extendable washing line - HURRAH rather than the old rotary one. Little things please little minds eh?

Having our roast tonight as I had totally forgotten we had a buffet to go to last night...so looking forwards to that.

Apart from that pretty much, same old same old.

Hi All; & bright here but chilly! Woke with headache which is not good as I have hospital appointment this afternoon and can't eat for 4 hours before which means from now. Luckily I just had breakfast. Trying to talk myself into going to gym, may help head.
Mummy, I guess you have out the sweaters and heavy socks already. A day baking sounds like a good way to stay warm and be productive.Aren't we marvelous at multi-tasking!!

and quite chilly down here, perfect drying weather. First load going out on the line after I have finished this. Forecast is good for the rest of the week, lets hope they are right.

MP and I had a wonderful meal at the new grill, we both had the grill of the day, a very large beef rib with red wine gravy. It tasted so good, but neither of us could finish it. So asked for a bag, that will be my dinner today, with some peas, carrots,gravy, and I have one of those large Yorkshire puds in the freezer.

I hope your heating doesn't cost you an arm & a leg, sounds very expensive.

Must get the washing out.

Morning Mummypops, Hope you get your heater fixed soon. It's not fun being cold. Cloudy and rainy and cold today. Laundry and some baking today. We have family coming in on the weekend, my brother and his wife. I am 2 years behind his wife in age. We are really good friends and were friends in high school. We talk about my 15th birthday party. Smiles and laughter all around We have football pictures at the stadium. We need sunny skies and no rain I loved the post you put in about cruising around in the clown car and clowing around. It made me laugh. Have a wonderful day Mummypops

Had a day out today, looking round all the shops and had my lunch out, and it was a lovely hot sunny day.

Hello Mummy,

Sorry I missed the game last night...fell asleep and DH didn't wake me in time - again . I must have need it because I slept until 7 am our time.

DH is away until tomorrow night, so will entertain myself with games and reading.

It got pretty cold last night - near or below freezing. Our flowers are almost all gone now. But, today now is a nice warm day.

It's fun being in the pond with you again (and Snuff!) Reminds me of old times when the pond was fun!
