coloring

can't get my orange to work....any suggestions?

This is all the walkthrough says:

Use the crayons, in the order stated by the note on the tack board, on the paper with a barn picture: green, blue, red, yellow, and orange.

Did you do it in the order it says? Sorry if this isn't any help.

yese, all in order..............as to the game, it's passing the time.

game will not let me do orange...keeps saying this doesn't go here, lets find another place for that etc...
help help!!

Not sure if you actually have to click in a specific spot, but the orange colours the barn walls and the tree trunk,, so maybe try clicking specifically on either of these.

I have clicked every square inch and he keeps saying 'that doesn't belong here' etc. would hate to have to restart. anyone else having this problem?

If you go out of order you get the kid saying you have to start over. If you put it in the wrong spot you get the response you're getting. Recheck the post board. You may be using it in the wrong spot, but even if you're not, maybe the game didn't register that you read it on the board so that might help.
