Hi welaome to the forum, I dont have any problems with BFG, the only probs I had like yours, was when I downloaded ST games, there were a nightmare, so I keep away from them now, but I am sure someone in the pond will be able to help and advise you

I have never had this problem with either BF or the other site mentioned above, so I can't tell you what might be causing the problems. The only time I've had a game so called "crash" is if my antivirus or updates kicks on while I am playing, and then the game doesn't really crash...it just shoots to my task bar and I have to bring it back up again. Your best bet is to contact tech support and see if they can help you out. When you do so make sure you include your dxdiag file as this will help give them a picture of your system and narrow down the problem. Good luck to you.

venusshines2000, I'm guessing your bumping into a technical problem due to hardware. Perhaps a drive that needs updating, temp files / cache need cleaning, not enough available memory, etc.
...I suggest you go through the Help screens and follow their troubleshooting instructions.
...If you still have problems, run your dxdiag file and send it with an email to Tech Support.

lol No need to hide, Mummypops, I went ahead and fixed that post for you..  Venus, crocodile and anyone else experiencing a full computer crash, this is usually indicative of a hardware problem. It's possible that when trying to play games, since they use up a lot of computer resources, your computer may either be running out of memory or certain hardware may be failing as a result. We do have an article that you all might be interested in - it contains information about grabbing the most recent Windows updates, updating your video card drivers and DirectX to make sure that's all running smoothly. You can get to it by clicking here. If you're still experiencing computer trouble, click on the "Contact Us" link on the left and let Customer Support know what problems you're facing - they may have more suggestions for you or more details for doing some computer maintenance that may help you out. Whew! Good thing. lt's only been there since Sept of last year! Was beginning to think it'd never be fixed.
