Ok I've posted this twice but maybe I'm not doing it right because I'm not getting any answers. I'm an older lady that loves these games but I am having trouble. I'm stuck in a mine or cave or something. There's an escavation hole, fireplace, etc. I'm stuck on a task that says I have to excavate a hole for the ring. My hint keeps circling the symbol on the left upper part of screen. I've tried everything and can't figure it out AND I can't leave the area. Please help, I've been stuck a very long time. Thank you

You may have got past your problem by now, but just in case you haven't -

The symbols on the arch have to be pressed in a sequence and then a ring hole will open on the wall to the right.

The sequence, if memory serves me correctly, is on the metal plate inside the arch. You should have a brush, paper and pencil in your inventory. Use the brush on the plate, then the paper and pencil to reveal the code.

my game won't save me as the player and I keep having to restart it, any ideas? I'm getting tired of having to replay all the scenes just to have to break off and redo it all again.
