This is a hard one to call, because people miss different things.

The key to this is blood, indoors and out. The five items in the room with the safe are obvious, so I assume you've done those - lemon tree, cylinder in box, clock puzzle and two books.
Find out everything you can about the body that is there and the one that isn't any longer.

really confused!. I have found all that I need in the house, studied the footprints and blood, even in 1st person but still cannot get the safe to show up. Am I going to have to start all over? When I go outside to study the footprints and blood in the first person, it looks like a spyglass is trying to show up but it never completes so even if I click on it---it won't do anything. Help!!!!

Hi,
I need help with the cell door lock in The Awakened: Switzerland. The Walkthrough shows a series of numbers after I've used the spoon to open the jail door but I don't know how to get the numbers to move into the right postiions to open the jail door. Can anyone help??

My curser is jumping around and hard to track for foot movement or picking up any objects or speaking to others. Does anyone know how I should change my settings to improve this?
Thank you.

Hi Marme6 - the combination for the lock is explained in the in-game strategy guide - but basically the goal is to get the numbers in sequence from 1 to 13 (or 12 which ever it is) in the central line. To juggle the numbers you can put only 1 disc on the top and bottom line, and as many as you want on the the 2nd and fourth line BUT they have to be in sequence (backwards or forwards) like 456. It's a sideways tower of hanoi - good luck!

My HELP! request - I'm trying to get stuff for smoke bomb- I've sedated nurse and got chlorine - I've even got pink crystals for Becker but I can't get potash in my inventory - can't find a container.
thanks Alissila

On the jerking movement of the cursor. I contacted BF and they were willing to help me fix my settings (not something my husband will like) or exchange the game. They are awsome! This is WHY I ONLY buy from them. I trust them.

For those trying to save the game for the first time, you have to click in one of the four empty boxes and you will get a prompt asking if you want to save.

I have a question. This happened to me at 2 different points in the game and I had to go back to a previously saved point. I am in the middle of play and suddenly I am taken to the menu and it will not let me create a save point. It is like I chose to exit the game, when I did not. I am getting frustrated repeating steps from stuff I already did just to be taken to the point where it kicks me off again! Any suggestions? Also, are there more than the 4 boxes available to save? I thought I read something somewhere about overriding a previous save but don't remember how to do it. Thanks for any help, I am new to the forums.

Your meal tin is the container. There's a lot to do before you can use it for the potash though.

You don't have to click in an empty box.

Re: Potash collection, Thank you Mr Russ - just looked at walkthrough on the beginning of this forum - I haven't spoken to anyone called Gerda yet and thought I had to get rid of guards first. Going bananas trying to pick up any bottles or jars!

Thanks

I am at a total loss as to how to play this game, there are no hints and it does not tell you what the different symbols mean (pipe, hand). Had I know before I bought it that it would be so hard, I don't think i would have.

There is an in-game hint system like UHS. There aren't any instructions though,
A pipe means no action, a hand means something to do.
Try right-click if you get stuck.
The game doesn't auto-save. Press Esc for the system menu.

I am curious about this game. I do have a downloaded demo from elsewhere and I had to affirm that I was 18 years old in order to obtain it, due to mature content. Is the game here the same or has it been stripped down? I was very disappointed to find that another game I bought earlier on Big Fish and then reinstalled on a new system had indeed been stripped of some of it's content. If I am going to purchase a game, I want the full content and on this one I think that altering the story would be a great determent to the game play, as it was for the other game I mentioned.

Thanks,

Jane

16+ in the UK (PEGI rating), probably because of blood and the occult. The download is the full remastered 2008 version.

Hi Alissila,
Thanks for the help - I finally figured out that I have to slip the discs off of the right side - then got the rest. You have to go back to the lab to get the potash where the sleeping guard is lying. You need the "meal tin" that should be picked up by the other prisoner's head along with the spoon. Hope this helps.
