The room with the desk (after raiding it) says I need to explore other rooms first to continue. The kitchen (after getting a few items) says I need to explore other rooms first, too. Considering I cannot enter the next room, I'm stuck in a loop and can't continue. What have I done wrong or not done? As far as marking the item on the paper with the pen, there is one piece of paper on the desk left. I do have a pen in my bag, but it won't mark any paper on the desk. Items I have include the finger- and footprints, the icepick, and the pen. What to do??? I'd really like to continue - it's been fun so far but is getting frustrating!

Thanks a bunch!

OK, Your finger prints place on the guys hands in the kitchen, same with the footprints, (on his feet of course ) once you've done that, take his spanner and the ice pick, go back to sherlock, that opens the next room. this should get you moving a little further. (Small hint. use the spanner to remove a section of pipe from the last room, I didn't and took ages to figure it out)

Now it won't even let me play. This also happened before I did the above. Whenever I try to play it, it acts like it is going to start then I get the "Exit" message on the game console. I am using Vista. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had that happen with 2 games recently and I never found an answer for this, they just gave me a coupon for the game. I have noticed the 2 times it happened the 60 minute trial didn't go to saying 0 minutes, trial expired.

I used my 60 minutes on this one and it's still showing 60 minutes so I'm afraid to waster a credit buying this game I just deleted the game and reinstalled it hoping it would go to 0 and it hasn't. If anyone has any answers or suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I am also using Vista Home Premium.

To fiery nights, In the kitchen area, if you have the footprints and finger prints still in your bag, put footprints on bottom of guys shoes, then when he turns round put finger prints in his hands, when that is done he leaves and then you can gain access to his tool box, you then go back to the detective and present him with your findings on the prints.

Now I need some help please, I too am stuck on the detective book, and do not know how to get out of the cryptogram page, I used a hint and it keeps circling round the letters CP, but does not tell me what im supposed to do, any ideas anyone. please.

Note to Vista Users above: I run Vista as well. Got my new PC a few months ago and had much trouble with download games and the BFG site. Tech Support worked with me for a total of about 10 hours and still had problems. (Tech Support is awesome on BFG !!!) ..They made one last suggestion: switch my browser from IE to Firefox.
I did and have been error-free since that time. No download issues, no hiccups, no exit issues, no doggy cursors. It's been wonderful.
...If you are using IE, try the Firefox browser to see if it helps. My only other suggestion would be to contact Tech Support. They are the most wonderful people and really do everything they can to help.
... Good Luck

!!!! Sorry but this doesn't compare to the first game, you missed the boat on this one, and with all the hype I was hoping for a real sequel! Go back to the original drawingboard IF you decide on a third AZADA. I even wasted my money on getting the strategy guide (which I am asking for a refund) as you don't need it!!!!!! Sorry!!! This one was a real disappointment, don't buy it until you can get it for $.99 or free!!!! There was no challenge to this one so i give it . It was a true BUMMER!!! . Anyone else disappointed?????
thanks for a place to vent!!!!!

re:- safire57 post

i have to agree, the first a1 was in a complete diff league. this puzzle only took me 3hrs to complete, and the first one took me days. the puzzle up the stairs was jsut the same over and over again and even my 8 yrs od was able to complete (left game open to answer phone and she was off with it)they are bringing out azada 3 its called azada adventures, lets hope they take on the majoirty of the views that this one was far too easy and boring. if im going to pay for a game i want it to last longer than a few hrs

I really loved the first one. This one was good too. Too short though. I wish it had taken longer.

If I remember right that shutter door is on the first page off to the left about half way up.

The rubiks cube type puzzle is hard to explain in type. Whatever color you have on the top middle it goes down and around. The other top one, left side also goes down and around just under that first one. Sorry this is so hard to explain.

I thought the code at the end was "cellar door" but I guess I'm wrong because I don't have the correct letters for that. I have no idea what that code is for the last safe

When you say the puzzle with the colored lights do you mean the one that have numbers on them and you have to turn them all green? That's also hard to explain and each person will get a different layout each time you play or restart that puzzle. Just be sure that those pieces with a 1 are only touching 1 other tile, those with a 2 only 2 tiles and those with a 3 touch only 3 tiles. I hope that makes sense to ya.

On that cryptogram page there's a VERY small x in the upper right corner of that to close that page. I restarted that twice because I couldn't move that dangy piece of paper.

FieryNights - You have to use your pen to check the dinner or room service box (I forget what they called it) first and then take that to the desk clerk. Later you'll check the laundry box and do the same.

Thank you for the info. I have bought at least 50 games from BFG and have only had trouble with 2 or 3 not activating properly so that they could be played. I don't have any problem downloading the games and the trials play fine, just a few of them didn't show the "trial expired" after playing for 60 minutes.

I did contact Tech Support for the games that didn't work properly and while they couldn't solve it, I did get a coupon to replace the credit I used. I just wish we could figure out why some games count down and some don't. For now if the trial time doesn't count down, I don't end up buying that game from them, and some of them I've really wanted.

Hi y'all,

Well, I was another one of the people who tried and tried and tried to get Ancient Magic to download. I kept getting that darn Download Interrupted message. I did everything that tech support said to do to no avail. I got on my husband's computer and the same thing happened on it. I got on my laptop and the same thing happened. I asked my husband if he had a firewall installed on our computers and he said "no." I was about to pull the plug on my computer and my BFG account when my husband had a thought.....he's a computer tech so I guess they have thoughts now and then.... We have cable internet and our router has a built in firewall. My husband got into the router software, disconnected the router firewall and SHAZAAM! Ancient Magic downloaded without a hitch. So.....if you are a frustrated BFG'er, and you have cable internet with a router, you just might have a firewall installed and not know it.

I'm off to Azada.......

Good game guys! The first Azada took me a few hours to get through, most were simple logic-type puzzles I played as a child and they're still fun. This one took more stubborness and guesswork and less logic but was still fun. Can't wait for the third. Thanks BFG!!!!
