Thank you FudgeChi,

For alerting the Mod's that the glitch is still there, I have one last tournament my 11.00 am and then they will be suspended again,

I don't really care about all the maths that goes into the +% and what score it will give you, I just like to play and play honestly, also I don't think it has anything to do with CD as they have acquired BFG doesn't mean they are running the BFG site at all, BF is still the same as it have always been,

people here are all to quick to jump to conclusions and make up their own conspiracy theory's, I think the Occam's razor is more pertinent ,

I give up,

I don't care what the About us page says, all I know is that gambling is rife all over the world and all gambling site are making it easier for people to place bets on their mobile devices,

BFG like many other sites have to keep up with the times or their members will go elsewhere, the programing side of games has also improved as the IT advance each day,

I am here to play and that is all I care about,

I think what it means is that although its focus may be more on the mobile app side of things, it'll still carry the games for the other platforms since there are far more of them now. Things may change later where the non-app games will be in the minority, but they will still be available since so many people still play them. Just my opinion, of course.

The entire gaming industry has transitioned to mobile devices. There's even games to play on your apple watch.

It's not at all surprising to me that BF would be aware of the trends and position itself accordingly. The number of games released for PC had been declining since at least 2011 (when I first started tracking the games released). Unless there are a heck of a lot of soft releases the rest of the year, there will be about 100 less games released in 2015 than there were in 2011.

The price of making HOPAs has quadrupled. The price charged to buy a HOPA has remained the same.

To get back t the cheating issue and why it matters. Maybe BF isn't all that fussed about what's going on in this game. But they need to look at it because they sure as heck don't want to ignore it only to find out the same technique can be used on their #1 mobile social casino game. "Go play at BF, it's easy to cheat there" is not the image they want to project to stockholders.

Let's face it, mobile is now and the future. Smart phones, tablets, etc. that's where it's at these days. Where do you go that you don't see someone playing something on their phone or tablet? Nowhere. Progress in technology is happening right now all around us. I remember using floppy disks. Now you're lucky to find a laptop that even has a dvd drive. They even have models with no memory capability, everything is saved on the cloud. This makes the unit ultra thin and light weight. No longer do you have to sync your iPod to the computer to bring your playlist up-to-date. Everything is saved on the cloud. Gone are the days of being tethered with umpteen wires from the monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse and printer. Every peripheral is wireless and compact. I'm using an all-in-one that doesn't even have a tower.

Let's face it...in this day and age the PC is quickly turning into a dinosaur. You can't fault a company for wanting to make money, that's called free enterprise. And the money these days will be made from the mobile customers. That's just a fact.

If they bring the tournaments back again with the souped up wheel, before long it will be just like the change in gifting. Many of the people who clamored for it thought it would be great because they could get caught up in their gifting and just refused to take into account that their friends would also be able to send more gifts.

People loved the extra gifting at first, but soon we had complaints about inventories being depleted and people going back to only gifting 5 a day.

I'm done trying to explain how this change will benefit more skillful players overall. Yes, a less skillful player will still be able to get into the upper places, but it will happen less frequently. But most people don't care what's happening to the general public, they only care about themselves and if they are the lucky less skillful player, then the game is good, the wheel is fixed, etc, etc.

If people are happier not winning any diamonds with a score of 190K than they were not winning diamonds with a score of 160K, good for them.

Midnight Castle at Lake Wobegone, where all the players are above average.

jrbutcher wrote:so we all have a gambling problem? Does it matter who carries the games? rather big fish or some other big industry that merged with BF... its a business...just like everyone else that wants to make it this high priced...need to work to make it world...who wouldn't want to have a big company and the fun of making other people enjoy life with a game... those who cheats are the perpetrators so why are you attacking BF? This is not sarcasm guys... I just do not understand why it is important to bring BF background up in a game... unless they are on trail.

I don't have a gambling problem. I don't have a problem with people who gamble. But I would think that people who gamble would have a problem and not like to gamble on a site that allows cheating. And it wouldn't take long for those gamblers to start thinking that if BF allows cheating, what about CD?

But I don't work for BF and I don't own stock in CD, so I really don't care if their reputation gets tarnished by the shenanigans in this game. It's no skin off my nose. But I'd be very surprised if upper management at BF didn't care.

Whatever they do, they do. I no longer care. I don't need the diamonds and I don't need the aggravation so I'm officially out of the find the cheaters business.

One of the co-owners of Boomzap posted on pondfriends about a year ago. The gist was that it used to cost 250,000 to make a HOPA. That was before voice overs, jump maps, live actors, movie quality cut scenes, etc. Now it cost 1 million and upwards.

The same person posted on reddit less than a month ago that he thought nobody would be making HOPAs in two years and he didn't know how Eipix managed to make them at whatever the going rate is.

BTW, the games are funded up front by BF, which is why BF owns the intellectual property rights to them. Developers just don't have that sort of money laying around to make a HOPA and then shop it to a publisher or distributor.

It's what the majority asked from the beginning...more pluses ....they have it now, they're happy.....if that's a way to stop moaning(even if it's not for their benefit)......it's fine by me!!!

Anyway, it's up to developers now....and I'm pretty sure so far that they know exactly what they're doing
.......give it a rest......after all, pluses are much more fun than minuses...... for all of us!!!!

What part of "I'm done" didn't you understand?

As for pluses being more fun, well, I didn't find spinning +30 three times and landing buried on the second page more fun. But them I've always been aware that I am a nobody and not part of "everybody" or "all of us".

Just popping in here to give my support to Fudge for reporting and testing this problem yet again! It's disheartening that the bug is still there indeed. As already said, I think that you have more than earned whatever diamonds you've won while trying toget to the bottom of this , Fudge! I'm hoping that BF or EG would remeber you with a free game voucher or something for all your troubles.
