So, could the new game take place in the same area?

Be sure to join the MCF Agency too Wicked..

My thought too. Lots of Irish references on Kavanaugh of course and with Celtic stuff on the sign it would make sense. I'm off ta bed, now. I expect y'all to solve by morning.

I thought it was the rising (or setting?) sun. But I can see the head and eye on left and a tail bit on the right ... so, it could be a dragon maybe.

I am probably way off. I've found a pub in Dublin called Kavanaghs, but known as "the Gravediggers" because of its proximity to Glasnevin cemetery.
I've found a few O' buried there, I'm trying to find 4.
I am also looking to see if I can find the Patricia L manuscript.

That was quick! I've found 4 O's buried there.

Famous people buried in Glasnevin Cemetery
Daniel O'Connell - dominant Irish political leader from 1820s to 1840s.
Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa - Fenian leader. '
Sean T. O'Kelly - 2nd President of Ireland (1945-1959).
Kate Cruise O'Brien - writer & publisher.

Patricia Lynch is in the same cemetery. She became a prolific and world-esteemed writer of children's fiction, but she died in 1972, so not 1980s.

Does anyone remember if there was a date on the time machine when Victor escaped?

I copied it into Paint and zoomed. All I see is a sun, with trees either side. The tail is just the border of the sign.

On the "Welcome to Dire Grove" sign, the picture right above the words "Dire Grove" bears a strong similarity to Stonehenge...veeeerrrry eeenteresting...

OK, back to the clue I'm trying to un-'pic'
I have found a play written in the 1980s by Patrica Burke-Brogan about the Magdalen Launderies (Asylum). They dumped the bodies in unmarked graves in Glasnevin. She was a nun at the time, and it was the first revealing writings about the launderies.
Not Patricia L, but getting close?

Did you look on Wiki at Magdalene Laundries? Pretty creepy. Not just the bodies in unmarked graves.
