Since the one portrait is a boy and a girl maybe this goes back to the notion that Rose was Charles' twin. A bit eeeew, I admit, but there ya go.  I think the other portrait in the oval frame looks like a man.
Also did you notice the portrait over the fire? Seems to be the one from the parlor(?) in Ravenhearst which I always wondered about as she seemed to be wearing a veil. Emma maybe?

That (along with the furniture) was how I concluded that the left hand screenshot is the parlor - just from a different perspective.

Already asked picman about that; as near as I can tell, the current structure of the forum has the game forums set on automatic - that is, the forum for any given game is created 24 hours after the game is released. That means the official Return to Ravenhearst forum won't be created until after it's released...
Our "over-forum" - The MCF Detective Agency - can't be created yet for the same reason - no game exists for it, so no forum. Picman said when version 3 of the forums comes out we'll be able to have independent forums.
Patience...not my strong suit, but that's what we need. 
In the meantime, I'm very happy that we at least have this thread, in a nice up front, specially designated spot so it can't get buried no matter how hard certain persons might try...

I'm totally stoked for this game to come out! The only bad thing for me is the release date on the 26th!!!! That's the day before Thanksgiving and I can't sit at the computer all day or night for that matter with 35 people coming to my house for supper on the 27th  !!! The good part is maybe I will miss all the downloading glitches that sometimes happen  However, what a awesome way to relax after two days of total exhaustion!
I can't wait!!!
