GLITCH: Crystal ball won't go into inventory

According to the walk-through, you're supposed to be able to click on the crystal ball in the library (right after the tree-house), then find the square crystal on one of the bookshelves. However, the crystal ball just clicks, a sign comes up that says it vibrates, and nothing else happens.

Any suggestions?

Okay there appears to be some confusion rather than a glitch but we can easily fix that!

First of all, put all the books away back on their shelves. Make sure you pick up the dream pieces as you go

There is also a globe which fits into the top shelf of the back bookcase. When you put the globe back there, a drawer will open at the bottom of that bookcase from which you will collect a crystal.

When you have returned all the books to their places, a new book will appear on the shelves which you need to find. Once you collect that book, you put it on the floor in the centre of the room and open it. Place the crystal inside the open book and it will charge up.

Strike the CHARGED crystal against the crystal ball you first saw on the shelf to right and whoala! The magic happens!
