keep getting an error

Played game on wife's computer with no problem,down loaded onto my computer and keep getting :error setvideomode failed.I have over 15 games on the computer and no trouble just this one.What can I do to fix the problem?Any help would be great.Thanks petelois

I've also started getting this error. It worked fine for me last week. Perhaps a new vista update is causing the problem?
