I probably would have bought this right away but I was out of time on so downloaded it from another site. Got to level 20 and received an error message and it closed. When I got back in, I had lost all my power-ups and it restarted at level 1. Every time I restart after playing levels and quitting, it restarts at level 1. Don't know if this is just a bug in the other site's game or in every version including . I'm certainly not going to play 100 levels at one sitting!

I've had quite a few games from other sites that had bugs. The same games from BF worked fine. We have better quality control here. Plus, everytime I've had a problem with a game BF's "help" either gave me a refund or a free token.

Thanks, cll1950. Was thinking the same thing myself. I've had problems with games elsewhere but games were fine. Still undecided, tho, since I'm not really good with brick buster games. But I do like the different potions that you can mix in the shop. It's a lot of fun. Still may buy it and hope for the best.

phatcat, you use the potions by right-clicking.
But can anyone tell me how you can choose which potion to use?
Also, it would be nice if I knew what all of the icons & symbols meant. Other than this it seems like a pretty good brick-buster game and for the price I won't be complaining!

my first post, although i've been learning from you all for a year now. you've saved me $ and headaches, helping me make informed choices. thanks!
i was puzzled how to get out of the game til i hit "escape" to get the dialogue box with 3 options: resume play, abort game, or save. i hit save and it did save the game and all my magic/powerups.
but getting back into the saved game next time is less than obvious. on the screen with the difficulty levels, there is no continue button like most games -- you have to click the text which shows right below the difficulty levels. i didn't even notice the text the first time i tried to restart a saved game, i went straight to the button -- so of course i lost all my magic and coins since it was a whole new game. urgh...
now that i'm sure it will save the games, i'm going to get this one. it's a nice break from HOG's which i usually play. thanks again to all!

It said that you can switch which potion is active by using the space bar.
This game is not for me though. Too much adrenelin = hot flash and I don't need to have more of those m

Ok you guys got me on all this 'initial' stuff. I think I might know what HOG is. Hidden Object Game? But I've also seen IHOG elsewhere. What's that? And what is a "brick buster" game?
Just sign me
ITD.
PS: What's a Ricochet game?

I just bought it after trying it on XP and Vista laptop, sometimes these older games are glitchy to impossible on my laptop. Runs great, and such a small file if you don't want to use up much on pc.
On Vista after dl I did get an alert saying it may not have installed properly and tells you to uninstall and reload by switching compatibility settings. Mine didn't need a reload, but only did a few levels on the laptop.
Topaz - hi - glad you went for it too, you got me a bit worried about going on to higher levels but I guess that is solved with BF.
I'm terrible at other brick buster games, PowerBall, Richochet etc but THIS one has great options like Easy, and Slow down paddle. Nothing hard on the eyes, in fact very relaxing - so seniors, slowpokes like me don't be afraid to at least do the demo. It's a lovely game, so far restful painted backgrounds. I'm not too worried about learning all the powerups, can never remember them anyway to use them, but fun passtime just keeping it simple. I'm over 10 levelsl on XP pc and loving it, probably will never play those other crazy makers I bought again with this one!

Sassybee,
IHOG is an "Interactive" Hidden Object Game, where you use some of the objects you find to do something with other things you find on the screen. Examples are the "Nancy Drew Dossier" games, Laura Jones games, and Dream Chronlcles games.
You can just scroll down BIg Fish's "Find a Game" page, <http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/all.html >, to go to description pages for each of the above, plus the Ricochet series (which are some pretty slick brick-busters).
Brick-busters are games where the basic gameplay is bouncing a ball off of your paddle, which you move left and right along the bottom of the screen, in order to strike bricks (or other objects), which are in a pattern in the upper part of the screen, with the ball, in order to make the bricks crumble and disappear. There are many power-ups, good and bad things to catch with your paddle, and generally you lose one of your lives whenever the (main) ball gets past you off the bottom of the screen.
