Stuck on Voodoo page in original (2007) Azada game!

I've just bought the 2007 Azada game and am enjoying it very much BUT - I'm stuck on the Voodoo page (in the second box). I've got as far as finding all the objects and getting the cauldron to put a picture of the voodoo doll on the sheet of paper, which is marked with where the pins have to be put on the Voodoo model (on the wall). I've tried everything I can think of but I just can't get the pins to go on to the voodoo doll, they won't stick in. Any ideas would be gratefully received because I've been through THREE lots of 'time scales' on this and still haven't managed to do it. Thank you. (I know it's an old game but I'm hoping there's someone around who will remember)

i had a little problem with that too... it is a little picky and you have to be very sure to put the pins exactly where the holes are cuz it wont work if you are even a tiny bit off.
