Level 26 help please

I am stuck on this one - it's the one with the explosive, the bomb, the fuse, steam, pipes, bends, gears, pulleys, unlit candles ..... and a basketball. Sport was never my thing.

Any guidance much appreciated.

I haven't got that far yet as I am very much stuck on level 16. So if you can help me I might be able to help you.

Place the dynamite next to the blow torch at the top. Place the C4 underneath the basketball, build the steam generator to power the C4, you may need to use the fuse from blow torch to light candle under generator. But get it right the C4 will propel the basketball and the dynamite will blow the top wall.

OK. From the right you have two bulbs one above the other, two gears with plugs, one above the other and in the middle three gears. Join the middle of the three gears to the top gear with plug. Put the solar panel between the top bulb and gear and plug (a little higher up so it will fit). Join the plug on the solar panel to the plug on the bottom of the two gears and plugs. Join the plug on the top gear and plug to the empty middle socket on the three sockets of the left hand side.

Errmm, that's not very clear is it! I hope it helps though.

Thanks Alrydian, a very clear explanation - I found I did have to use the fuse to stagger things.

I actually am having trouble positioning the C4. I have tried a number of places and maybe I'm just not moving it slowly enough and trying. I have everything except the ball goes up and bounces either left, right, or goes straight, but doesn't ever go enough to the right high enough to get over the arc.

Any help trying to picture at least a smaller area to move the C4 in, that would be great.

I just re-done this one, and the C4 needs to go directly underneath the basketball (touching the basketball), not outside like I tried also, so you should not have to worry about moving it left or right. There is just enough room for the C4 to fit in.
