Crystal Skull?

After you collect all the cards it says to play the game (which is like a match 3) to get crystal skull. Does anyone know if this is just a bonus game or does something happen? I've played twice and nothing happens.

Has anyone figured out this match 3. I also have played it twice and am not sure what the point is?

Okay I played the match 3 several times and the crystal skull opened up. Won't spoil it - but not worth the trouble!

I'm at that same point too. The skull is unlocked, and I just click and it forwards me in some never-ending cycle. I played this game through twice for this? What am I missing?
