Also a warm happy TG to all my southern cousins.

Did you know TG in celebrated in at least 5 different countries?

Or that US and Cnd customs vary, because of different history?

Cheers and happy TG to you wherever you are.

I didn't realize that Thanksgiving is such an important day in America, as it is unknown in my country. So I'm late also, but better late than never: from me too Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope very much that we all will have peaceful years to come

Hope everybody had a great day, whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not. Days of prep, several hours of cooking, several hours of entertaining and I'm exhausted. Thought I would check in and see what everybody else was up to. Finish cleanup tomorrow.

More people travel for Thanksgiving holiday than even Christmas in the US. Just a little tidbit.

Good lord I think I put on a few more pound which I needed. I will also note as I am sure I was NOT the only one taking note of the Turkey serving dishes and assorted paraphernalia. I had to stop my desire from pushing the Turkey off my sister in laws Turkey serving dish so I could see the pattern underneath.

I've seen a lot of things in the different locations, that I've owned at some point in my life. Makes it more fun for me, to see things I recognize.

Yes.. I have 2 different sets, very similar in style.. both from the early 1920-30's from England.. One set is Alfred Meakin and the other is Johnson Brothers.. not super fancy, but they mean the world to me..

My family hates it.. because all of them have to be hand washed only.. they didn't make things dishwasher safe back then..

CH - All precious things need to be hand washed. It's no big deal. The best conversations are around the kitchen sink.

Cheers
