Differerent endings

I've come to the end at last (with a lot of help from this forum -never did find a walkthrough) The voice suggests trying the ending as 'Dame Agatha Christie wrote it'. All I've found is that I'm only allowed in the sitting room, billiard room, movie room and dining room and apart from getting a wire attached to the radio nothing happens. PLEASE would someone help me over this last little bit!!!!!
