one of my games hates me.

i get a kid for a chief, this sounds good at first. because i get an extra worker. the game then hits me with an ant event, wiping out my food supply. i send everybody except the scientist scrambling for honey & the kids scrounging for mushrooms. get enough for a meal. leave & come back, the game blesses me with yet another ant event. & again virtually wipes out my food supply.

not sure if the honey is going to last till the tree matures. i THINK the alchemy will save them from starvation, to refill the health bars. but i lost a lot of time with this one.

I've had 8 games so far all of them FAILURES why? because of this one event

The Mysterious Fog
" A mysterious fog has rolled over your village, when it passes your villagers discorey all the food is missing" And it always happens after i take all the honey out of my honey comb D:

The worst time this happen is when i got a different event that had someone crash land on my village he was a novice builder and he was really close to becoming adpet so i had 1 sicentist 1 Farmer and 3 builders then BAM that mysterious fog event with 500 food....

My deepest sympathies to you both for such rotten events....but you need to crack the whip with your children !! Please don't label me a child abuser but everytime it rains and you spot a mushroom, pause your game and quickly drop as many kids as you can on top of it !! Use your spacebar to pause/unpause. Do the same with collectibles.
Surely you both realize by now that all adults must be sent to hard labor at the scientists' bench except for three builders. As soon as they become adepts, FIX THAT LIFT. The sooner you get the orchard up and producing fruit, the sooner you can stop doling out famine rations to all your villagers. You will need to sharply curtail honey gathering until your trees fruit.
Yes, your villagers will cry and complain of hunger but you must make them tighten their belts and suffer through it. They will be a bit more productive if you keep 200 food units in the bin. Allow your Tribal Chief to conjure up some magic food daily !! Joining the Nature Faction will also help.
You must also do your best to practice rigid birth control so as not to lose any workable females. Tell your prospective parents it would be wiser to wait until you achieve unlimited fishing. Of course you may allow one stork calling should all your children attain maturity before that milestone.
Hopefully, your luck will change and your villagers be blessed with more fortunate events.

i do that escpially with red... one time i balanced myself out and i got the same event again after that i gave up and scarpped that file i think my game file hates me
