When a player loses progress in the game, it's recommended to contact our Midnight Castle Support Team with your Friend Code and a description of what was lost as well as details surrounding what had occurred before that loss was noticed. Hey bfg!!
Cannot play my game today due to very slow and sporadic activity from cursor and after clicking on anything, an extremely slow response. Once or twice my screen had a few thin horizontal blinking lines so checked my screen resolution and tried changing it and go back to game....exited again restarted and changed the resolution again....restarted the game...exited the game...restarted the pc. None of this changed the problem. So cannot play any bfg games until I can fix this.

Have exited and re entered the game several times also have restarted the pc several times. Went to other bfg games and the same problems in 2 other FTP bfgames.
Performed other activities (search, and MS Edge and Explorer, banking and more) on my pc with none of the above problems occurring.

Please help

OMG!!! I'm at level 57 ID #652046. I was playing and got an error message that said there was a problem and that it would take a while to fix. Come back later. I did and it has started the game OVER FROM THE BEGINNING!!! No! This can't be! How can I get it back where I was????? I'm going to cry.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm so sorry there have been troubles with your Midnight Castle games. Let's see if we can fix them!

datsalotta: I'd recommend checking that the computer's video card driver is up to date. This driver directs how the computer's graphics display, and downloading the latest version can improve the relationship between the game and the computer. I'd also suggest running the game in Administrator Mode; this will increase the game's permissions and ensure it can access all of the resources it needs.

I am trying to get the red ghosts for the cc and I got 4 and it only acknowledged 2. I looked at my ghost traps and it shows that I used the 4. I checked to see if I had caught a different colour by accident and I didn't. This is disappointing.

Considering I have played this game for over 3 1/2 years I can not believe the really slow response time is just all my computer.

I have downloaded the newest window 10 1709, I have played one game with no slow response time but I don't think it came from big fish

I do believe I have a ATI Radeon 3000 Graphic

I have deleted the game 2 times and downloaded it again I am beginning to get frustrated

I have updated my video card driver (I think) I always run as administrator

Still slow response even with google chrome just added again

Not sure what to do next

This is a problem with the newest windows update. I had same problem. You have to go into your device manager (Windows & X). Once in your device manager, click on display adapters. Then click on your named display adapter driver. Then open properties, go to driver and roll back driver. This should fix the issue until Microsoft windows fixes this problem.

I did what you suggested and found out my roll back is (empty) it will not move, so I am figuring I need to bring my old girl to a computer specialist since I am not one.

I know I have to become a little more or a lot more aggressive at understanding why or how these updates affect the computer and me.

Sometimes I feel like somebody has picked me up and set me down in another country and I don't know how to speak the language, and I certainly don't know how to find things, I was amazed you could do as you suggested.

If a computer is smarter than me which I believe it is most days why doesn't it fix it self! If it relies on me, it's going to be a hurting.

I have been playing cc for 3 hours, looking for the 17 red ghosts and have seen only 2 although others of all colors abound. Since there are only 2 more days remaining i doubt I will be able to finish the last challenges. Is there a way to find ghosts of a particular color, or is it totally random? Stormy 511814

stormy3030, welcome to the forums! My understanding of ghost captures is that the color and type of ghost that is captured is randomly determined. This means that it might be some time before the ghost you are searching for specifically shows up, or that it might show up without hunting at all. I hope this is able to help clarify that you are correct that the ghost color and type is randomized and different for each player. I'm sorry about that spate of bad luck and wish you better luck in the coming days for those ghosts!

I have several friends that i can not send things to. I have had these for several months and they just seem froze. They are not in order also, they just stay in the back where friends that i have sent gifts to show. How do i get them in order with the rest and how can i unfreeze them .

Hello loriq,

It sounds like there's been some trouble gifting some friends in Midnight Castle. I can absolutely explain what's going on.

Several months ago, an error occurred that prevented players' Private Rooms from being visited by friends. In order to resolve this glitch, players needed to change something small in their Private Rooms, such as the room's name. Until players make a change to their Private Rooms, they can't be visited. It might not be possible for you to gift these friends if they haven't made those changes.

If you have gifted your friends recently and believe this might be a different technical error, please contact our Midnight Castle Support Team. If you include the game's Friend Code in the email, they'll help you as quickly as possible.
