Once you get all 50 gems,do you just keep going to the same places? In other words, after getting 50 gems, is the game over and are you left playing unlimited?

I did buy that game. I've finished it. I just haven't finished AAATW but I have all 50 gems. It seems to be repeating itself.

The quality of this game is nothing compared to the original one.The clues are SO easy to find-it's like they have been magnified.
Poor show BFG-I won't be buying this one sadly

I ended up buying this game. Not sure exactly what it is about it, but I really like it. The flow of the play seems to be just the right balance for me. I would recommend this game.

I'm almost at the last level of this game. My complaint is that there is no untimed option. After each scene of looking for hidden objects, there is a mini game to complete within the time left. I would like to take my time to find the objects, however, I use the hints almost as fast as they are available because I don't want to have too little time to play the mini game. So basically, I'm only playing this game for the mini games - which are small diversions but nothing special. I doubt I'll buy another Amazing Adventure unless they offer an untimed mode.

I have enjoyed playing this game but it is so dark that I end up using the hints all the time. I would much rather be able to use my eyes instead of my mouse button. Even so I have enjoyed most of the mini games. Please please designers lighten up. The objects should be artfully hidden not just in dark areas. My poor monitor is at full brightness and I still cannot see things.

I've also found many areas of the screen in scenes like "Petra", "Amazon", "Taj Mahal" and "Great Wall of China" too dark for comfort. I'd put this down to my vision impairment though (Lol).

The one I downloaded does have an untimed mode which I usually play & love. The 'unlimited find' is one I enjoy, too. Now that I know the game a bit I have used timed as well. Mind you, I wish there was a way to tell what games have an untimed mode *before* you buy them.

Hi Laurah65: You might have already gotten your answer to this question, but I just saw this post now and so here my answer I'm afraid we do not get a posting count for emails or PMs....they are not consider a "post". You only get credit for the posting you do in the Forums.

Hi CaroltheScot,

What you said. I loved the first game and play it regularly. This one is just a pale imitation. I played the demo and got to the end! Only had 49 gems, though. I'm glad I didn't buy this.

I have trend micro internet security and it won't let me play either this game or the lost tomb (both demo). It says stopping suspicious activity, i can open it then my mouse won't move - I take it that's trend? I opened up trend trying to type in popcap under exception list, and trusted but it won't allow me to type anything.
As I can play big fish games OK I wonder why popcap is so invasive?

Starting out we enjoyed the game but with the repetativeness....it becomes very boring. We ended up buying it without knowing exactly what we were getting into as we are new to this adventure. Buyers remorse on this one....
