Jewel of Atlantis - Opinions?

[Post New]by Diana_Mc on Oct 30, 09 5:29 AM
I've been considering this game but I'm not the best Match 3 player and I worry that it will be another one where I'll get stuck.

I've been trying to find something similar to Trial of the Gods: Ariadne's Fate but didn't have any luck. I'm on my third time playing that one.

I've been consider 10 Talismans too but wondered if that one would get boring.

I bought The Rise of Atlantis but I have the feeling that it's going to get too hard for me very soon. I play Around the World in 80 Days but I think the highest game I have is in the 60s. (When I think I'm going to do badly I play as the dog or my husband - helps save my ego.)

Any opinions would be appreciated. I have read about needing to do the arcade mode to get all the stuff but I'm not sure that would be an issue. My problem is getting stuck and not being able to continue. I have to wait until my kids come home to beat the bosses in Enchanting Islands (pitiful!).

This is one I've missed somehow so I really can't advise you on the difficulty level.

I loved Ariadne, one of my all time favourites and would put Babylonia and Fishdom and Fishdom Spooky Splash at about the same difficulty levels. I have Rise of Atlantis too and have never finished it, had a glitch and reinstalled but still think it's probably not doable for me, so maybe we're about at the same level of expertise.

7 Wonders II was another one I really liked and was able to finish, I found Cradle of Rome difficult but I did make it through and liked it a lot, anyway if you haven't tried all of the ones I mentioned already one of them might fit the bill.

Thank you. I will check the 7 Wonders (so many of these sound alike!) and Cradle of Persia.

I'm not sure why the Fishdom ones never grabbed me. I know I liked Babylonia fine until they wanted me to fuss over some zinnia that had bugs Okay - I have real plants that need care, you know? I guess even if the idea is interesting, most of the ones where you buy stuff don't hold my interest. I have problems with the size or colors of the tiles on some and I discovered that ones that I have to slide are a bad thing for my hand.

Oh - I am saving the planet with Eco Match but only a little at a time and it was free.
