okay the shining was a hotel. dire grove is closed for the season. sounds like it takes place in an abandoned hotel.

The hood ornament on the car in the lower left corner looks like a MCF Badge....

Is the car that won't start the one further down the road? It's lights are on. I guess it is frozen.

The Shinning took place in a closed resort.

Blair Witch was about people who search for answers to a legend. Documenting with a video camera. Filmed personal terror and became victims of unseen terror.

The Ring was about a curse being sent via videotape. Person watches tape becomes victim of creepy girl.

do you think the new game will contain elements of videotaping and sending curses via videotape?

All were very creepy, especially the girl in The Ring - she still gives me the willies.
