A Glitch?

I downloaded the game Amazing Adventures Around the World. I think I have come upon a glitch already. While in Cape Town, one of the hidden items is a File. I could not find a file anywhere and clicked on ole reliable Hint button! It pointed toward the upper left of the screen, on some shutters by a medal. I clicked all over that area and there was nothing there...at all. I even set there and looked, looked and looked some more and saw no file of any type anywhere.

Please let me know if this happens to anyone else if they come across the object File in Cape Town.

Not sure of this game but I have it happen in others and if you go into your control panel - go to display - in display properties hit settings - your screen resolution should be at 800 by 600 pixels. Move notch over to the right a bit to 1024 by 768 - hit apply. This will allow more areas to be seen in your game. You can switch it back any time. Good luck.

mdcrab!!! you were right!!! I had forgotten that some of my settings changed on my pc when I upgraded to Service pack 3...including my display settings!

I never even noticed...geesh!!

Hello the "File" is hidden along the window at the very edge of the screen - the handle is at the top and starts right below where the bottom of the keyboard is.

frugalearth You are right I have the game and have started playing it and haven't had any problem with it besides a little downloading one. This is a great game I had already played it with SpinTop I think. I played their demo I as waiting until when BFG got the game to purchased it I got it on the 17th and starting playing it early in the morning around 4:00 AM remarkable huh but I just had to sample a little of it to see how much I remembered. happy gaming.

Okay, fellow "fishies"; here is a new possible glitch. (I was playing the "World Diamond" search in relaxed mode.) When I finished Mission 25 (including the mini game), it gave me the usual journal entry; then the problems began. When I clicked on the link to close the journal, the screen went black. There was a hand with the index finger pointing in the middle of the screen, but nothing else. The hand would not move and the music for the game continued playing. I finally had to restart my computer to get out of the game. When I restarted the game, I thought it would probably take me back to the last location or, possibly, the beginning of Mission 25. Guess again! It had not even retained my player profile! Has anyone else had anything like this happen? I have emailed BFG Tech Support, but I thought I would send a ripple through the pond to see if anyone else had anything to add.

I had the black screen for a while, then the tablet game came up.
