Aveyond--Tutorial

Hi, think I would llike this game and dowloaded to play for the one hour. However, no tutorial? Understand using arrow keys to move character, but cannot get beyond Clearwater! Rhen cannot cross over the water. Two addtional characters are present and I assume you leave Rhen at the edge of the water and use another character, but no directions how to activate them to move! Used spacebar, left and right mouse--nothing happened. Totally frustrated--do not know how anyone can create a game with no instructions! I am not computer illiterate--I am a computer instructor! But this game has me completely baffled! Please help. Thanks!

If you google search the developer, Amaranthia, you will find a walkthrough there. We have Build B. Go to community and then the village square. Also, Gamezebo has some tips and tricks. I bought it as the daily $2.99 game, but haven't started it yet, so can't give you any hints. Good luck.

Thanks for the info on this thread. I don't "get" this game at all, and will visit the other sites for tutorial info. The fishies on the games forums are terrific!

This particular episode of Aveyond is not intuitive at all !!
I have found that most excellent RPG's are designed specifically to test the players exploratory and memory retentive skills.
Don't let that put you off this brilliant game. There are many players here who will gladly help. If you will stop a moment to read the forum, you may find some of the answers that are currently frustrating you.
But back to the game.....look for a cave entrance and explore. Talk to everyone in town and remember (or write down) what they offer. Additional party members will join Rhen only after key requirements are met. You will be able to switch party members around after you have gained more than 4 companions.
Remember to save often especially before and after winning battles or solving quests.
Remember to upgrade battle gear/weaponry as you acquire them.
The higher the experience levels of your characters, the stronger they become.
Many of the accepted quests in this game cannot be resolved until far later in the game.
the best of luck to you all ......it took me over 90 hours to complete my first game as I didn't know of the developers fan based walkthrough !
