Acorn??

Has anyone else had a problem finding the acorn in the battle scenes??

I have even restarted in the easiest mode so I can get all but one of each spell to have the least amount on screen to look through and yet I still can't find an acorn. Is this a problem with the game or my eyes?

I love the game but this one thing is driving me bonkers!

Doobie, we are all having this problem and it appears to be a bug. It doesn't make the game unwinnable, but it's really bothersome. Hopefully they will fix this soon.

From tiny acorns mighty games will grow!!! I had this problem too, but I just restarted the game and it gives you a different formula..but I do hope this does get fixed as I actually enjoyed playing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so very much for letting me know I'm not alone!! I went to the blog walkthrough looking for pictures of the battle scenes trying to find one with an acorn. I finally did find one in the pictures but it's definitely missing from my game.

So does customer service know about this issue so that we can have a new version posted?

You're right,no acorns.There was also a recipe I had that required the empty flask.It was there but you couldn't pick it up.It treated it like it was a misclick.I really like the different aspects of the game but I think there were a few bugs they missed.I had another ingredient for a recipe(can't recall what it was)that just wasn't there.

I haven't written to Customer Support and the mods probably won't see our notes until Monday (?). Hopefully folks will write to CS and report this problem with the game.

I wrote Customer Support earlier. I was hoping the more people that reported it the more likely that they would post an updated version of the game!

I couldn`t find an acorn either, and I also couldn`t find a "letter A".
Hope this gets sorted soon as I like this game as well!!

Glad it wasn't just me! I'd finish everything for the spell several times except for that damn acorn... it got to the point where it'd list 'acorn' and I'd just give up on that one. Argh!

First Post! Hello Everyone. Same problem ....no acorns. Three different
battles now, best spells couldn't be made...acorn invisable

I finished it in the timed mode without the acorns but wasted a lot of time making a potion only to find that one of the last few ingredients would include that darn acorn.

What a relief to read these messages. It is 24 hours now since I was playing the game, and thought I would take a quick look at the forum before continuing the game today. Like you all , I thought it was my eyes getting tired, as I searched everywhere for the Acorn.
I am so relieved to find that it is NOT there !

I don't usually take pleasure in other people's problems, but I was SO glad to see that other people could not find that darn acorn as well! I even tried clicking on the "Letter A" and then clicking on the "corn", but no dice.

Only about 1/2 way through ... but do get ticked when after finding 6-7 items I see I need the acorn ... all that wasted time on that formula!! Since the ACORN IS NOT THERE!!! Argggggg!!

Okay, I finished the game without the acorn and I did it in relaxed mode which meant I had more time and no dying. I then went back in under a different ID and replayed to the level I remembered having to find my first acorn--which was level 4 or 5 I had played the game all the way through -- so I now knew what each item looked like and could spot them immediately -- with ONE exception . . .

NO ACORN!!!

I am now 75% through the game for the second time and I have intentionally let myself get whacked by some dumb elemental, or sooty skeleton just to find that one little item . . . I can honestly say -- this game is full of coffee beans, hazlenuts, that asperic thingie and multicolored insects, but it is guaranteed, absotively -- positutely ACORN FREE!!!
