I need help. I made 3 or 4 sets of feet for Oscar and each time I take them to him, he says they are the wrong feet.
I even used the tip from the walkthrough about making feet. That set of feet also got the same response: Oscar said they are the wrong feet.
What am I missing with this? Help, please!

HI Jazz! It's a funny thing. I played through that scene twice, & the first time it took me one try. The 2nd one I did I don't know how many times! I didn't even realize there were different colors! You'll know when you have the right one, because you will see a long cutscene showing the feet being made.(When you get the wrong feet, the cutscene is considerably shorter.)
I can't remember the exact color, but I took a look farther back in the forums, & found they are light gold. Hope this helps,
Kate

Hello dixielady,
Thank you so much for your helpful note. I went right up to the console, made the light gold feet and took them to Oscar. He said they were the right ones. It was good to be able to move on from that scene. Thanks again for your help!!

Misty40 wrote:Ok, I was wondering if I should buy this game. I'm thinking I will..lol. Who is Oscar and why doesn't he have any feet? I'm as curious as a cat.
Hello Misty40,
Just found your note in response to my question about Oscar's feet. Thought I'd reply and tell you that you really SHOULD be this game. It is more difficult than some but it is really great! Oscar is an automaton and he has no feet because the person who started making him didn't finish the job.
This is just one of the many interesting things in this game... and I'm not very far along yet. I'm sure there is much more of interest in the adventure yet to come.
Buy the game and enjoy!!!

Misty40 wrote:Hello and thank you Dixielady627g and Classicaljazz! I'm gonna buy this game right now! LOL
Misty,
Glad to hear you are buying the game. Hope you enjoy the wonderful graphics and the challenge of it. I continue to be amazed at the originality of this game concept. The team that put it together are very gifted.
Please let me know how you like it after you've had a chance to get into the story. I'll try to check the forum now and then to watch for a reply.
Enjoy!

dixielady627g wrote:Hi, Jazz! I know this is off topic, but I just noticed you are now a Seahorse! Congrats, & I'm glad you are enjoying the forums!
Kate
Hello Dixielady,
Thanks for the congratulations. And I had to do a doubletake on my sea creature, for, until you sent the note, I hadn't even noticed yet that I am now a Seahorse!!
I mainly go to the forums when I'm stuck on something and want to see if anyone else has posted the same problem so I can look at their replies. If I don't find a solution fairly quickly, then I post a "HELP" plea.
Thankfully, on the one I sent about Oscar's feet, you quickly sent a helpful solution and I was able to follow your suggestion and move on in the game. Once or twice I've sent a note to try to help someone else that is stuck... but usually when I know the answer and open their notes, someone else has already sent the answer their way.
I'd say the fishpond forums are usually a pretty friendly and helpful place!!!
Thanks again Dixielady,
Classicaljazz

You're welcome, Jazz! That's what I usually do with the forums, too. (Although I'm probably the one you see who's made all the replies! ) You should go check out the Chit-Chat if you're ever lonely or bored, though. It can be very fun, informative, & entertaining, & best of all, the fishies are very friendly in there!
Happy gaming,
Kate
P.S. That's funny about your rank- the seahorse is very cute, though.
