Cloudy Vista

The hint box, after you have failed , mentions 'notice how the monsters float over the rainbow'. Of course I have noticed this and also that a line is held up when it gets long enough to double back on itself. But how is this a clue? I have done pretty well up until the second Boss and they just take so many hits, they get to my village before I can wipe them out.
The Dragon evidently does not help on the Boss levels.
And how about those Zombies? They are awful! If you don't have an anchor to slow time near some towers you are sunk!

I have clustered my lightning towers (all upgraded) near the bridge and have a booster near them, plus have got all of my ground cannons upgraded as well as basic towers at least twice and several 3 times.

For those who have finished this level-is it just a matter of keeping on?

I have no answers sorry, but thanks for posting about this game since I had never noticed it and it looks great

Figured it out. When any of the monsters, even ground ones, are on the clouds, they can be hit by the lightening towers. So, be sure to position the towers so they will hit the cloud section. I find that I love the bubble gun towers-I try to used them across from each other to really slow the monsters down.

For Cloudy Vista, I finally had it built up enough that most did not even get to the bridge and the few that got across were zapped while traveling around my bubble gun tower on the left 'island' that was upgraded to the max.

Am having lots of fun with this and working on my 5th go through. Be glad to help anyone else if I can.
