Screws for ladder

I collected the six screws and they were put into my cache but when I went to get them for the ladder they disappeared. I used the hint button and it just points to where I'm supposed to use the screws. HELP, please

I also lost the
screws for the ladder

went back into game and I got the screws back.. weird!
