Cesse's Wonderful Wednesday 11/11/09

............ Hi Everyone, what are y'all doing for fun today? I'm really behind because I bumped into an old friend on my walk this morning and we went to Bob Evans for coffee. We both retired about the same time and hadn't seen one another since then. It was fun catching up on all of her news ... and bragging about my news LOL!!
... Mom called to say the friend driving her to the doctor's today has had to cancel. So, I'll be heading topside after lunch so I can drive her. I'm low on books, and she only live 2 blocks from the library. Think I'll return the books I've finished and pick up a few new ones.
... Temps should reach low 60s so I'm hoping to work in the yard for a bit. We've had some wind the last couple of days and a lot of leaves from my neighbor's yard have blown into mine. So, one task is to blow them into the street. Plus, I need to trim some plants to ground level.
... Sending prayers out for all my fishie friends in need. Hope everyone has a Wonderful Wednesday!!

Morning Cesse and all!!!

Just a quick minute to pop in and say hi. Been another busy week at work, but what else is new! It is a nice day today--sunny and the temps in the 50's. Had a late seminar last night, but it was fun and I love the piece. Tonight, I have class, but will try to wrap it up a little early and get a little more sleep!!!

Cesse--always fun to run into old friends--sounds like you had a great time. Those leaves keep coming down, don't they. We've had well over 15 bags in the last week or so and it looks like at least another 10 ready right now. But--better than snow!!!

Woke up this morning to SUNSHINE ! Quite a surprise, since the forecast has been for rain off and on all week. I'm getting ready to take a nice long walk. I don't trust the sunshine to last the whole day.

Cesse, your mom is so lucky to have you taking such good care of her. I hope she appreciates it. She is very blessed to have you.

Lilorange, good to see you check in. Get some sleep - it's the best thing to fight off all the nasties out there this time of year! (Ooh - did that bring out the "mom" in me, or what???)
