............. Hello Everyone!! ... Cold but gorgeous this morning. Bundled up in all my winter gear and went for my walk outside. Luckily there's no wind so it was not a bitter cold. Right now its 35 degrees F and should warm up to mid-50s.
Other than yardwork, no plans for the day. Have lots of the usual inside chores to do but none are at the critical stage!! May work outside a bit then read a little. Picked up a couple of new books from the library yesterday.
Hope all is well with everyone. Sending prayers out to all my fishie friends in need. Have a great day / evening everyone!!

Good Morning Fishies and welcome to my private island!!!!!
There is water all around us!!
The river is up and the street is covered with rain water up to the edge of the curb!! We sit up on a little knol so we are dry even with the rain water all around us. Our only problem is Angus, he won't leave the enclosed porch, he just sits at the door and looks out but won't go out I guess when he has to "go" bad enough he will. Hubby went to the eye doctor about a hour and half ago, I haven't heard from him or them so I guess he made it OK. Today will be a good day to just do nothing but play games, read and paint.
I hope all the Fishies have a dry day in the Pond today!

Good morning, Fishies!
Another sunny morning! Be still, my heart! The forecast this morning said not to fear, the storms will be coming back with a vengeance tomorrow. Rain and wind. So, another long walk today before tomorrow's rains. I finally got a copy of Dan Brown's new book The Lost Symbol from the library - well, it's ready for me to pick up, so I'll walk there to get it and have something to read when it gets blustery tomorrow.
Memaw, I heard about the storms in your town on the news this morning, and I was wondering how you were doing. I hope DH doesn't get stranded!
Warm and sunny, cold and frosty - sounds like we have weather all over the place today. That's November for ya!
Have a good day, fishies!

Up date on the storm, hubby got to the eye doctor and back home with just needing to make a couple of detours. A lot of the intersections are under water. He just went and measured the river level and it's a little over 5 feet higher then it was with hurricane Isabel, still a couple hundred feet from the house.
Angus finally went "out", he followed hubby and did what he needed to do. I don't know how large a bladder he has but it was about 20 hours since he'd been out!!!!
The whole East Coast is getting this, I talked to our son in southern Md. and they also have flooded streets, they are inland so no rivers or ocean near them, just too much rain for the storm drains to handle.
