Sundial

Hi Everyone i'm having trouble with getting my sun dial to work! I wait until the goasts appear then i drag a villager on top. But i get nothing,sometimes i get that long explation about the princess ETC. Is there more to this? What am i missing? Please HELP. I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, ENOMAMA55

Don't understand what you are calling a sundial. I don't remember seeing one,maybe I missed it.

You are in the wrong forum - post this in the V V 3 forum. However, maybe I can help?
Put a villager on the dial and slowly move it clockwise. As the villager moves it, you will see a beam of light come in - just leave it a second in each position until the beam of light eventually will shine in...that's what you need.
It will bring the ghosts...after that, anytime you put a villager near that spot, the ghosts will appear.
