PLEASE HELP ME WITH TV!!!

I have made it through alot of levels, without stringing them together but had never bought a TV. When I got serious, I started upgrading it pretty much in the beginning before the levels got too difficult. So now I am sitting in my 4th Place, Egypt,on level 10, everything that will turn gold is gold. My totally upgraded Silver TV only stays on a channel for 20 seconds at a time. Where are the "Hours of Viewing Pleasure" for the customers? Please tell me what I am doing wrong before I start all over again, with no TV at all!! I think it's a waste of money. Are we expected to Bake, Frost and Deliver while changing or getting back to the same channel all the time?

Agreed: the TV needs to be clicked a lot. I don't know anything to do to improve that.
But on the other hand the correct tv channel makes the customers realy happy.

It truly does help to have the TV in Cake Mania 3 -- I even have a list of which customers like which channels....if you want it, just post here & I'll post the list of players/channels.
It's true that one must click on the TV far more often than in previous Cake Mania games -- there are definite "pro's" to that in the sense that if especially difficult or impatient customers come in, you can switch to their preferred channel so much more quickly. The right TV channel makes some customers so happy that you don't even need to give them cookies to keep their 'stars' high.
IMHO, it's a waste of your money to upgrade the TV -- customers are just as happy with the first basic TV, so spend your $$ on other things.
Something else that helps a lot is getting ONE topper ASAP -- it adds more $$ to each order & can make the difference between passing a level or not passing it.

I would love to see what channels make certain customers happy! TY!

I found out mostly by trial and error for which channels work with the characters. For example, the wizard, the female dinosaur, the eqyptian lady in the pink dress, and the chinese lady with the fan all like the channel on the top left. I don't remember the color. Robin hood likes the channel on the bottom left. The witches like the bottom right channel. The monkeys like the top right. Next time I play, I will update with more complete information.

I am a HUGE Cake Mania fan. And from my personal experience the TV only helps in the later levels when the Patience of the customers goes really fast. Yes it is a pain to have to change the channels and figure out which one works, but if you use the TV often enough you will learn how many clicks it is for each one, and then when you get those extra seconds in patience it makes all the difference in the world.
And I think 20 seconds in Cake time is Hours....LOL LOL
