HOW DO YOU USE THE BONUS?

On one of the screens after you finish a level there is a place where you can use some of the bonuses. I know what the EXTRA LIFE, SLOW BONUS, AND STOP BONUS are used for. Can anyone tell me what the other bonuses are used for or can they be used for the game? I can't seem to get past level 5-5??
Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I'll try to help. On the screen after you finish a level you can click on the Bonus you want, it will deduct that amount from your score. To use it HIT the ENTER on you keyboard. You can only use one bonus per level. So you have to make sure it counts. Don't worry about buying a new life. It will deduct them from your score as you need them until you have no more left. I use the Color Bomb Bonus, it removes all the balls of a certain color. It costs 80 points. I have trouble getting past 6 of level 8. I gotten as far as 8 of 8. Hope I helped. I am a newbe and not yet familiar. I am trying to play Atlantis and I am trying to find out what happens when the [u]beam of light shines up the screen. The games doesn't give much information, so I am here looking for answers from someone who has played this one.

And when you catch the bonus, what do you get for it ? And when the big explosion happens, I want to know what I did to make it happen and what it is doing. And what does it mean when the balls roll off the tunnel, if you can't keep them all from going some of them roll off. What does this mean?

Hi Spookeydo, The beam of light is just showing you for a few seconds where you are shooting. After you get enough bonus points you can use them when ever you want You have to buy them. To use it hit the ENTER key on your keyboard. You can use only 1(one) per level. In the beginning the game automatically used the bonus's to show you what they are. When they are used it tells you on the screen which one it is, but is only there for few seconds. Don't worry about buying extra lives. The game will take the cost of new life automatically from your score until there is not enough to buy any more. Hope I was of some help! Good Luck.

I'm currently on level 8/4, have over 2,787,300 points and 623 credits but the only available bonus that I can ever "purchase" with my credits are extra lives. How can I get any other bonus to light up so I can click on a different choice. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you get past it?

If only the Extra Life bonus is lit up, have a look at the bottom of the screen as you play. You might have selected another bonus and not used it. If you use the active bonus, then you will be able to purchase others. Hope that helps. I have found that the bigger your screen, the easier (!) it is to play this game. PS try Atlantis Sky Patrol, it's a great game.
