AZADA Ch. 8 The Tomb Please help!!!

I dont understand what I'm doing wrong. I get all the pieces (the dial, the code and the hour glass) and when I put the dial in place and attempt to use the code, I get a pop up that says "we may need to find the code first." I'm looking at the code and trying to turn the dial, but it wont turn...it just keeps telling me I have to find the code.
What am I doing wrong?

I vaguely recall you had to do something with the hourglass.

I would check some of the other threads in this forum. I'm sure it was discussed. i remember having dome difficulty as well on this page.

You can't take to long to click the hourglass after click the symbol.

Hortense here. I'm delighted to hear that you got through The Tomb. Your hang-up was the same as mine, but you found the answer. I have checked everything I could find on the subject, walkthroughs, click the hourglass quickly, nothing works. Could you tell me what advice worked for you? I'm beginning to think that my old reflexes are just about worn out, which would be very sad because they have served me well for 80 years, Oh well, all good things must come to an end, but not yet, please!
