Unslingo Award - has anyone got it?

[Post New]by RainCat on Sep 22, 08 7:59 PM
20 matches with no slingos?

I have been playing Classic mode for the better part of an hour, deliberately making the dumbest moves possible, and have gotten to 19 twice and 18 several times, but that 20 mark eludes me.

I think in order to win this award, when you get down to 5 numbers, they each need to be in a different row and column.

Aargh. At least all the other awards come naturally over time. This one is hard!!

Great post. Atleast now I might be able to get somewhere with this. I have up to 17 but didn't know how the heck I did it. Been trying to figure out exactly how to accomplish it. lol Maybe I'll have some luck now.

Here is how to do it....leave one of the diagonal rows in tact. That is the only possible way of doing it

it is mainly down to luck , so the diagonal thing does work, but i can take a long time to do it!

I'm on 19 and have been for ages! Problem is, it takes a combination of luck and planning to get the 20 and whilst the planning is no problem, the luck just hasn't been quite there yet....

I am still on 19. I try to leave a diagonal line but haven't been lucky enough to get the right numbers.

I also have 17 and have no idea how they got there. However, after completing one game without making a slingo I wasn't given the credit.
Its the only level left and I'm ready to move on.

I did it by playing in Supreme mode without any power ups. Found I got fewer jokers that way! Found it easier to plan my moves. I didn't worry about diagonals, just tried not to get down to fewer than two blocks in any direction.

Trying not to get more than 2 numbers left in any line is the way to go... plus being lucky. I tried for days and the diagonal thing didnt' work but on the first try of making sure i kept at least 2 numbers in each row until the last few rolls did the trick!!! And i am finally done w/ this GAME!!!!

It took me about an hour to get it using no power ups. Unlike another poster though, I liked getting jokers so I can choose which numbers to eliminate. Obviously the trick is to leave 1 number in each row/column. It's a little easier if you can leave the center number. Be patient and keep trying, you'll get it.

I have gotten 17 unslingo's so far and have no clue how I did so.....I am really good at this game so I am not going to purposely mess up for this award....Do you need all awards to complete the game? I just stick to the Surpreme not the classic....Maybe I will just let the unslingo come somehow on it own.I am not going mess up with over 2 million in points right now.

I personally have found that trying for this award it best to do it in the classic mode and not worry about the score. Start by trying to leave BOTH diagonals at first start, then worry about just one. It CAN be done without leaving a diagonal, but it really takes mostly pure luck on this award.I got real frustrated at this award the first time through, and took hours to get it, but the second time through, I got it in under an hour.( about 45 minutes to be more accurate) Quit out many times when got a slingo and restarted hundreds of times, but got it.

theren is something wrong with that game... i love it, really, but just look at the following two screenies:

http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/cq6c-1-png.html

http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/cq6c-2-png.html

is it a bug? both games have been finished completly... or am I too stupid to understand how to manage this award
