Fairly interesting HOG available for today only (just 6 hours left). Just The Mysterious Past of Gregory Phoenix and you will find it. Hope that this is kosher posting this here...

I got it this morning and it is quite interesting. Not a bad hog.

I went to the site and looked at it. Is it mostly adventure, or hog, or is it pretty much even on both?

Thanks for the welcome! Just thought HOG loving fishies would enjoy this one, even if it is a tad short. It's a better one and [edits by moderator].

I'm going for it! Thanks, Manuel! This game is by the same developer as Reincarnations: Awakening, so it ought to be interesting...

ETA: Stone of Destiny, Cassandra's Journey, and Master of Defense are also from that developer. It should be here at BFG soon. I may have to get it here. I can't seem to open the zip file...

I've downloaded both games and software from [edits by moderator] and never had a security issue. I was recommended to check out the site from some nice folks from there actually; so I knew [edits by moderator] first, lol.

IIRC offered a free game there once too; but it was before my time.

I finally got it to open and run. Dunno. Windows is funny with zip files sometimes. At any rate, it is a good HOG with a bit of interaction and minis. From the number of runes on the map, I would guess I got about 1/3 of the way through in about 1-1/2 hours. The HOs are not too difficult to find, though a few of them were half off my screen. I'm playing on the laptop, and not sure about the resolution. seemed like part of the screen was cut off.

The puzzles were pretty easy until I got to Grandpa's locked "stash". I think I need to use the crowbar to get in, but it isn't working. Hmmm. Anyway, I'm tired, so will look at it again tomorrow!

phatkhat, it's not the crowbar you need, but something else in your inventory...

Thanks for the post ManuelCalavera!

Was too late too. l know the site and had never a problem with it.
l always forget to have a look, because the game giveaways are rare and not always good.
But thanks for the reminder!
