Scarab Beetle puzzle at end

The last puzzle with the scarab is dreadful. The blue beetle is on the left and the red beetle is on the right, both at the very outside edge. The blue beetle "power source" is on the left and the red beetle power is on the right, both in the center. There are moving circles containing "tubes" or "wires" to connect blue power to blue beetle and red power to red beetle. I can get one color connected at a time, but when I do, it detaches the other clolor from the center "outlet". Considering the shape of the "wires", I'm not sure that the solution to this puzzle can either be.explained or even exists. Like several other players have said, I'm also at wit's end. The game has been fun so far, but this is ridiculous. Has anybody solved this? Can anybody help?
